Congratulations, America!
regardless of whether you wanted obama or not, it is a great day in America when a black man becomes President
make no mistake, racism is still alive and well in America, but how far we have come
I remember visiting a friend in D.C. some years ago and looking at a Washington Post she had saved from the JFK era...what struck me about that paper was reading "for rent" want ads that plainly stated "no colored" in the ad...right there in the Washington Post from the 1960's, right here in America...hard to believe, isn't it?
and now, 40 some years later, a black man is our President
Ramos and Campeon are to be free...what next?...the economy turns around?...life is good...enjoy it
;-)
